Judge asks for Border Agency to be informed of Tandragee resident’s intensifying offences

A man whose drug offending has escalated from Class B to Class A to be referred to Border Agency.

The judge ordered for prosecution to inform the Border Agency about the 24-year-old as his offences were “increasing in intensity”.

Jakub Kryszak, of Kirkside in Tandragee, pleaded guilty to possession of Class A at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

Defence counsel stated that the defendant did have a record and the may be “merit in a pre-sentence report”.

After having sight of the record, District Judge Bernie Kelly said: “It may well be a case for a pre-sentence report and I will ask the prosecution to refer him to Border Agency.

“His offending is increasing in intensity for Class B to Class A”.

The case was adjourned until November 11 for sentencing.
