A man was rushed to hospital following a serious one vehicle collision in Co Armagh during the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
The car, travelling along the Dundrum Road in Tassagh, is understood to have left the road and collided with a tree and telegraph pole shortly before 2am.
It happened close to a row of cottages on the stretch of road.
Emergency services were quickly on the scene with fire crews from Keady, Newtownhamilton and Newry all called upon to assist.
The injured man was heavily trapped and hydraulic cutting equipment was used to free him from the wreckage before he was rushed to hospital.
It is understood the man suffered a serious head injury.
There are no further details at this stage.
