A teenager has been charged with 16 motoring offences after an incident last month when a car was driven through a band parade in Rathfriland.
Police investigating the incident at Newry Street on Friday, September 17 have charged the 16-year-old with a litany of offences including dangerous driving, failing to stop for police and disqualified driving.
He is due to appear at Newry Youth Court on Friday, November 5.
As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the PPS.
Meanwhile, a 35-year-old woman was arrested in relation to the same incident today (Monday) October 18.
She was arrested on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
She has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
