An Armagh estate agent has created their own little piece of history by claiming back-to-back titles at the prestigious Negotiator Awards in London on Saturday evening.
CPS Property – with six branches across Northern Ireland – picked up the gong for ‘NI Estate Agency of the Year 2018’, adding to their 2017 crown – also a first for the Awards.
The Negotiator Awards, which was held at the 5-star Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London and hosted by TV personality Julian Cleary, is viewed as the highlight of the residential property industry year.
The chairman of the panel of 25 judges said of CPS Property: “CPS was a very strong entry with great diversity of income and evolutionary approach.”
He added: “This was a particularly well-written entry, especially with the presentation of their testimonials, and the emphasis on looking after their team.
“Not only are CPS able to compete with over 37 applicants from Northern Ireland, they too are competing at the highest level across the UK-wide network of branches.
“From compliance assessment of services to marketing / brand awareness, along with selling and managing an extensive quantity of residential and commercial properties, CPS stood out from their competitors as market leaders and very worthy winners for the coveted NI Agent of the Year title.”
Art O’Hagan, managing director of CPS, accepted the award on behalf of the company at the black-tie gala dinner.
Speaking to Armagh I, he was delighted with the accolade.
“I am of course delighted to collect the number one spot on behalf of the committed team in CPS and delighted to achieve this accolade at such a prestigious event,” said Mr O’Hagan.
He added: “For us, it ends a very busy year and puts us in good stead for year 2019, our 33rd year in business.”
