Richhill lodge donate vital PPE to nursing homes, health centre and ambulance service staff

Further deliveries are planned over the coming days

Worshipful Master Jason Loney and Deputy Master Kris Blakely with the various staff from Rosemount Care Home , Hockley Nursing Home and NI Ambulance Service.

Two local nursing homes and ambulance personnel are among those better equipped this week thanks to the efforts of a Richhill Orange lodge.

Richhill True Blues LOL 665 secured its first order this week of vital PPE equipment to help and assist the fight against Covid-19.

It was decided that the Lodge’s focus would be directed to local front line healthcare staff working in nursing homes, Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, and Richhill Health Centre.

The order consisted of a quantity of hand sanitizer and NHS approved face masks.

A spokesperson for the lodge said: “The first deliveries were made today to Rosemount Care Home, Portadown Hockley Nursing Home, Armagh and the Armagh depot of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.

“These deliveries were greatly received by the various staff irrespective of religion, who all thanked the Lodge for their kind generosity.

“Further deliveries will be made over the next few days.”
