A 76-year-old Lurgan man is charged with attempted sexual communication with a child in a case allegedly relating to, according to his charge sheet, ‘multiple female decoys’.
Frederick John Stanley English, of Glenview Drive, is charged in relation to between May 2 and May 31 in 2023.
The case was mentioned at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday where a prosecutor said the full file has still to be received at her department from police.
The defendant is on continuing bail of £300 with conditions including having no unsupervised contact with children apart from “normal every day interaction”.
He is also not to use any internet-enabled device to connect to social media sites and he is to allow police to inspect any device.
The case was adjourned to August 29.
