People of the Year Awards: Community Impact Champion – nominate yours

Armagh I’s ‘People of the Year Awards’ gives you the opportunity to highlight those individuals who simple “do because they can”.

Our communities are full of inspirational people who, during the current pandemic, have gone above and beyond to help those shielding and vulnerable in society.

With nominations now open for our five award categories, our second category: ‘Community Impact Award’ – sponsored by Next Move Property – gives you the opportunity to nominate someone from your community who has made a difference over the past year.

The Community Impact award recognises individuals making a significant difference to community life.

For example, a particular project or cause that has changed the community for the better by improving relations and promoting a shared society.

What you need to do on the nomination form:
(a) outline the project.
(b) demonstrate how without this project the community would be worse off.
(c) demonstrate a commitment towards improving community relations and a more united and shared society.

To nominate an individual simply download the nomination form and guidance on how to nominate and return via email to marketing@armaghi.com or post to: Armagh I, Suite 5, Dean Swift Building, 50 Hamiltonsbawn Road, Armagh, BT60 1HW.

Whilst a traditional awards ceremony will be lost this year to Covid-19, each winner will receive a one of a kind custom designed award hand crafted by a local artist following public voting due to take place from February 8 until February 27 when each winner will be announced on Friday, March 12, 2021.

Nominations are now open and will close Friday, January 29, 2021 at 5pm. Please note that late nominations will not be accepted.

Download the nomination form here. Guidance on nominating and details on each of the categories can be found here.
