Man arrested after discovery of cannabis factory in Co Armagh village

A man is being questioned by police following the discovery of a cannabis factory in a Co Armagh village.

Cannabis plants with an estimated value in excess of £12,000 were seized by officers during a planned search at a property on Main Street, Darkley yesterday, Monday, December 17.

Cultivation equipment was also seized during the raid.

The arrested male, aged 27, remains in custody at this time.

There are no further details at this stage.
