LAMB prices eased considerably at Markethill on Wednesday, July 24.
Heavy lambs sold from £80 to £85 each with a top of £89 each for 24 kilos (371). Main demand sold from 330p to 347p per kilo.
Middleweight lambs sold from 340p to 360p per kilo with a top of 373p per kilo for 22 kilos @ £82 each.
Stores sold readily from 330p to 357p per kilo for 14 kilos @ £50 each. Stronger pens sold from 346p per kilo for 19.5 kilos @ £67.50 each.
Good quality Cull Ewes sold from £55 to £70 each with 2nds from £30 to £50 each.
