Detectives investigating the murder of Karen Cummings in Banbridge have charged two men with murder.
Both are expected to appear before Newry Court tomorrow, Wednesday, December 18.
Karen Cummings was murdered in her Banbridge home on Saturday evening.
She is the 25th woman murdered in Northern Ireland since 2020.
Police were called to a property in the Laurel Heights area of the town at 6.30pm on Saturday.
It is here Ms Cummings was found unconscious with a serious head injury. The NI Ambulance Service provided medical treatment but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two men, who were arrested shortly after the incident, have since been charged.
The 32-year-old man is charged with murder.
The 42-year-old-man is charged with murder, firearms-related offences and handling stolen goods.
As is usual procedure, all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
