Armagh police catch learner driver using home heating oil in fuel tank Motorist to appear in court on a number of offences by The Newsroom January 29, 2018 Picture: PSNI Armagh Police in Armagh caught a motorist driving along with home heating oil in the fuel tank. And the offending vehicle was also being driven by a learner driver with nobody to accompany them. The offences came to light during an operation which targeted motorists flouting the laws in Armagh. A number of vehicles were found to be on the road while not insured. But the home heating oil incident came to light during an operation which involved officials from HM Revenue and Customs. A number of vehicles were caught whilst being driven on ‘dodgy’ fuel and, in this case, again the motorist was not insured. The motorist is being charged with a number of offences and will be due to appear at court on a future date.
