Austen’s Women: Lady Susan

Austen’s Women are back – in a brand-new show! Devil-may-care Lady Susan, the coquettish black widow, hunting down not one, but two fortunes; oppressed, rebellious daughter Frederica; long-suffering sister-in-law Catherine; family matriarch Mrs De Courcy; and insouciant best friend, Alicia.

Return to the Regency (or rather, Georgian) in this darkly comic tale of society and the women trapped within it; their struggles, their desires, their temptations and manipulations – and at the vanguard, Lady Susan: charming, scheming, witty, and powerful; taking on society and making it her own. But has she met her match?

In Conversation with Bishop Donal McKeown and Bishop Patricia Storey

The Cathedrals’ Partnership was set up between the two Cathedrals in Armagh as an expression of their common life in Christ. The aim of the Partnership is to strengthen and extend the bonds of unity between both communities, including other faith communities, to make the Cathedrals symbols of mutual understanding and reconciliation.

Armagh Cathedrals’ Partnership invite you to a special evening to celebrate Patrick bringing Christianity to our island. The guest speakers are Bishop Donal McKeown and Bishop Patricia Storey and the music will be provided by The Royal School and St Catherine’s College. The Great Irish Songbook

Following on from last year’s sell-out event, Malachi Cush and Karl McGuckin return with their musical ensemble to present an evening of Ireland’s favourite songs and melodies. Karl and Malachi are two of our best-loved singers, with Malachi’s natural tenor voice and Karl’s booming resonant baritone voice creating a combination that has been described as ‘breathtaking’.

Classic ballads including ‘The Isle of Innishfree’, ‘The Town I Loved So Well’, and ‘Danny Boy’, accompanied by beautiful arrangements, are guaranteed to have the audience singing in the aisles.
