Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Palace Demesne, embark on a day (or weekend) of mindfulness where you can unwind and enjoy a series of gentle workshops to promote everyday wellbeing and relaxation. The event lasts from 10-4pm and tickets can be purchased for 1 or both days.
Saturday March 26, 2022
10am – 11.15am: Chair Yoga by Karen Wasson (KW Mind Body Sole)
A fun and accessible class, suitable for all levels, using a chair to support and stabilise the body to gently improve mobility and flexibility and release stress and tension. If you are new to yoga this is a wonderful introduction to postures, breath work and relaxation at a slower pace.
11.15am – 11.30am: Water, Tea and Coffee Break
11.30am – 1.30pm: Sound Bath Healing by Tessa Ann (The Sound Healing Spa)
Tessa Ann from The Sound Healing Spa will guide you through a relaxation experience as she plays the relaxing sounds of Tibetan bowls, crystal singing bowls, gongs, percussion along with her voice. This is an immersive, restorative experience is delivered with the intention of lifting your spirits and refreshing your mind and will be followed by a short workshop where Tessa Ann will teach you how to play Tibetan singing bowls for your own self care.
1.30pm – 2.30pm: Lunch which will be provided
2.30pm – 4pm: Spring wreath making for mindfulness. Mindfully create a beautiful, Spring inspired wreath with Chanel from Just Breathe and Create.

10am – 11.15am: Slow Flow Yoga by Karen Wasson (KW Mind Body Sole). A gentle rhythmic practice connecting movement with the breath which is suitable for all levels. A wonderful class to mobilise the joints, increase flexibility and calm the mind.
11.15am – 11.30am: Water, Tea and Coffee Break
11.30am – 1.30pm: Meditation with Nature element by Ann Ward (Xhale). Meditation Coach, Ann from Xhale will support you to tap into your personal toolkit of the breath, body and senses. During this practical mindfulness workshop, you will develop a number of tools which can be easily integrated into everyday life. We will explore a range of mindfulness techniques including breathing, gratitude, mantra, mindful eating, nature connection and body scan. These skills will support relaxation and stress reduction during the workshop and beyond.
1.30pm – 2.30pm: Lunch which will be provided
2.30pm – 4pm: Drawing for Mindfulness – A relaxing and mindful art workshop, held by Northern Irish artist, Chanel McKinstry.
