Aonach Mhacha screen touching film Róise and Frank for Pet Awareness Month

As part of National Pet Awareness Month Aonach Mhacha will be screening the excellent film Róise and Frank in Armagh on Saturday April 29, for FREE!

Grief-stricken Róise lost her husband, Frank, two years ago. Her son, Alan, worries about her but the arrival of a mysterious dog seems to bring happiness to her life once more. Róise soon comes to believe that the dog is, in fact, Frank reincarnated!

Is it pawsible? He has come back to be with her again… and to coach the local sports team…

Set in the scenic Ring Gaeltacht area in Co Waterford, Róise and Frank is a charming Irish-language film for the whole family: a comedy-drama that will elicit smiles, tears and plenty of laughs.

The film screening is due to take place between 12pm and 2pm and booking is essential.

Supported by Film Hub N.I. Joanne Nesbitt from Paws For Thought (Co. Armagh) will also be on-hand just before the screening to talk a little about her work with dogs and to raise awareness of responsible pet ownership as well as sharing the many benefits our cherished pet companions can bring.
