The Market Place is 25 and we’re very proud of the part we play in our community.
Join us as we host a special performance to celebrate a quarter of a century of bringing the best in entertainment to Armagh City.
We’re delighted to welcome a host of local and national performers to our main stage to celebrate their part in our 25-year history. This is a show not to be missed!
- Market Place favourites and rock royalty, The Pat McManus Band will showcase their own brand of blues rock with favourites old and new.
- Get ready to shake, rattle and roll with The Soda Popz and their fabulous Rock ’n’ Roll tribute.
- Marvel at the music of Armagh’s own Brian Finnegan, hailed as one of the most unique and progressive voices in Irish music. Brian will perform alongside members of the renowned Armagh Pipers Club.
- Relax to the sounds of one of Northern Ireland’s leading internationally acclaimed classical musicians, pianist Ruth McGinley.
- Armagh Theatre Group take to their hometown stage with a showcase of their acting talent.
- The Dynamos will light up the stage with your favourite ABBA hits, brilliant choreography, eye catching costumes and even some audience participation!
- Singing sensations Eoin Mallon and Claudia Clendinning will hit the high notes with a medley of musical favourites and watch out for a rather special finale!
- Many more special performances from local and national artists including a specially choregraphed Irish Dance and Highland Dance showpiece.

In this hilarious sequel to our sell-out hit Menopause the Musical®, we fast forward five years to catch up with the same four characters for tales of their lives, loves and losses as they set off on the high seas.

Give My Head Peace
After numerous sell-out tours across Northern Ireland last year, the Give My Head Peace team return to the stage with a brand-new live show for 2025.
You will meet your favourite characters from Ulster’s best-loved dysfunctional family. Da, Cal, Ma, Dympna, Billy the Peeler, Pastor Begbie and Sandy the Kneebreakers barman.
There will be up to the minute satire, top class stand-up from Tim McGarry, silly plots and the occasional song.

After his sell out dates with his Colinization and Whatchamacolin tours, Colin is back out on the road in 2025 with his hilarious new show Murphy Beaucoup!
He examines, amongst many other things, dog poo etiquette, living in the future and being on the same planet as other humans who have the bare faced cheek to be younger than you.
There will be a lot of the usual winging it with the audience, gratuitous swearing and scenes of a sexual nature.

Teddy’s Best Friend
Eddy the Teddy and Sammy Ragdoll are best of friends. However, they have a silly argument and Eddy decides he’ll go and get a new best friend.
Eddy discovers that finding a new best friend isn’t so easy. Everyone he meets has their bad points as well as good. Of course no one matches up to Sammy.
Sammy is missing Eddy too so by the end of the show they are best friends again. The show uses many elements of theatre, mime, puppetry and songs to join in with.
It’s a perfect introduction to live entertainment for children who’ve never been to a show before, and a welcome return for Eddy the Teddy’s young fans.

Disney’s Beauty and The Beast

When Belle, a headstrong young woman, stumbles upon the beast’s castle, she encounters a host of unforgettable characters and a chance to lift the spell. But can Belle see beyond the beast’s terrifying exterior? Will she choose to love him, or will she condemn the castle and its inhabitants to a life of despair?
