Two cars set on fire in Crossmaglen square treated as arson

Two cars were set on fire in the middle of Crossmaglen square in south Armagh over the weekend.

Police are appealing for information following an arson.

Around 12.28am on Sunday, 1 November, police received a report of two cars on fire at Cardinal O’Fiaich Square, Crossmaglen. NIFRS and police attended.

The fires are being treated as suspicious.

Constable Jeremy Dale said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident. We can be contacted in Crossmaglen on 101, quoting ref: 73 011115.”
