Police are appealing for help in locating a blue Audi stolen from a Co Armagh property last night (Monday).
The S1 model with a registration ‘M9 LVY’ was taken from the Willowfield area of Tandragee sometime between 7.30pm and midnight.
This is quite a distinctive car and is believed to have travelled towards the direction of Newry.
Did you see this car or a similar one maybe showing a different reg plate?
Had you observed any unusual or suspicious vehicles/people in the area?
Please let police know on 101 and quote ref 152 of 21/08/2018. Even the smallest detail can be helpful.
This incident follows on from the weekend where there were a series of burglaries in the area.
Detective Inspector McCamley explained: “We received a report at 5:25pm on Friday, 17 August that entry had been gained to a house in the Lisnavaragh Road area of Scarva sometime between 9:30am and 5pm that day. A gold signet ring was reported stolen.
“Later on Friday evening, at around 9:40pm, police received the report of a burglary at a house in the Drumnamether Road area of Tandragee. A window at the property was damaged. Among the items stolen was a jewellery box containing gold rings, chains, earrings, costume jewellery and a watch. It’s believed this occurred sometime between 6pm on Thursday 16th August, and 9pm on Friday.”
