A Portadown woman who injured two people due to careless driving will have to wait until next month to learn her fate.
The judge commented: “The charges themselves could carry a custodial sentence”.
Kirsty Kelly, 20, of Westland Road, pleaded guilty to two counts of grievous bodily injury by careless driving at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
District Judge Bernie Kelly stated: “Well I think I am going to require a report for this one”.
Defence barrister Aaron Thompson commented: “I thought that was inevitable given the age of the defendant and the given the level of injury”.
Judge Kelly said: “The charges themselves could carry a custodial sentence”.
The case will return on October 4 for sentencing, Kelly was disqualified during the interim.
