Corn snake was found on Sunday afternoon

Someone is missing a snake in county Armagh.

Police in Portadown are looking to trace the owner of a snake…yes, a snake, which has been found in the Portmor area of the town.

The three-and-a-half foot corn snake was discovered slithering about on Sunday afternoon.

An officer for PSNI Craigavon said: “Sorry…the caller has come across WHAT now?!

“If everyone would like to panic in an orderly manner…

“Once that’s done, if you can do a head count of your snake collection, or tag anyone you know who may be a snake owner in the Portmore Street area of Portadown.

“It was found yesterday afternoon. Some bai who knows what he’s talking about thinks it may be a Corn Snake variant.

“According to tinterweb, this is a very good thing: non venomous and they take out rodents.

“If this is yours, it’s being looked after by aforementioned knowledgable man. Phone us on 101, reference number 938 of 23/07/17. We’d be happy to reunite you.
