Police in Newtownhamilton are investigating the report of a suspicious approach to a 13-year-old boy in the Camlough Road area, of Bessbrook (near the playing fields) yesterday, (Wednesday), February 12.
It was reported that at around 4.45pm a dark coloured car pulled up beside the boy. The driver asked the boy to get into the car but he refused.
Police would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information about the incident to contact them in on 0845 600 8000.
