A man has been admitted to hospital in Northern Ireland as a precautionary measure after displaying symptoms of coronavirus.
The disease has so far claimed the lives of 17 people in China.
The man is known to have travelled here from Wuhan in China – where the virus originated – at the weekend.
He has been admitted to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
He has been placed in isolation as a precaution and is undergoing tests at this time.
The Public Health Agency has said there have been no confirmed cases of the virus in Northern Ireland and the Belfast Health Trust is making no comment on individual cases.
Symptoms of coronavirus include fever and respiratory problems.
