Coastguard confirmed a six-year-old girl was found safe and well at a seaside resort after having issued an urgent appeal.
HM Coastguard made an urgent appeal via social media, posting: “If you have a young daughter called Tia who was wearing a pink top and black bottoms at Cranfield Beach today, please call us ASAP.”
Cranfield is a popular resort with people from Co Armagh and beyond and the authorities were trying to get the word out.
In little over an hour, Coastguard confirmed the girl had been located safe and well.
