Traffic disruption expected ahead of Newry Pride parade

There will be some traffic disruption in Newry this Saturday afternoon August 31 as the Newry Pride parade takes place.

Assembly for the parade is at the Albert Basin, departing at 1pm. The route is along Buttercrane Quay, Merchant’s Quay, Needham Bridge and Hill Street for approximately 2pm.

Police urge the public and road users to plan any journeys in advance and, if travelling to the event, park legally and do not obstruct access to any residential or business properties.

Officers will be on the ground to accommodate the flow of traffic.
