Gilford cannabis factory accused to have case sent to Crown Court

A previous court heard there were around 50 cannabis plants

A man charged in connection with the discovery of a cannabis factory at a house in Gilford is set to have the case sent to the Crown Court.

Josh O’Donovan (30), of no fixed abode in Armagh, is charged with cultivating cannabis and dishonestly using electricity at High Street in Gilford on December 21 last year.

He is also charged with causing criminal damage to a police cell van on January 26 this year.

The cases were mentioned at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

A previous court heard there were around 50 cannabis plants.

A co-accused was mentioned at a previous hearing.
