A Co Armagh Gaelic Football Club are set to raffle two tickets to Sunday’s All-Ireland final – along with €200 spending money – all in aid of the fundraiser for Tracey Crossan.
Tracey, who is the wife of former Mullabrack player Dominic and daughter-in-law of Ita, the former treasurer and secretary, was diagnosed with Stage-Four Terminal Colon Cancer in July 2023.
‘Time for Tracey’, a fundraising drive set up to help Tracey travel to Mexico, where she can avail of specialist alternative treatment at Hope4Cancer, has already raised over £100,000.
Tracey Crossan, a talented glass artist from Ballymoyer in south Armagh, was living a normal life with her husband and four children, Oonagh (17), Fiachra (15), Sarah (14) and Fianna (14).
Since her diagnosis, Tracey has undergone two series of chemotherapy with the hope the cancer’s progression would be slowed.

This sadly did not work out, and Tracey has been given the news that the cancer continues to spread.
Throughout her journey, she has been trying to find more direct forms of treatment through trials or alternative cancer treatments.

Tracey’s research into alternative treatments led her to a reputable clinic in Mexico that would treat her cancer during an intensive three-week programme specifically tailored to her type.
It’s hoped the treatment would gain Tracey more precious time through non-evasive means to help her take back control of her life.
Tracey plans to begin her treatment in Mexico on August 7 and will be there for almost four weeks. She will return to the clinic twice more to receive top-up treatment.
Writing on social media, a spokesperson for Mullabrack GFC said: “We are hoping by raffling these two tickets that the proceeds will help towards the cost of Tracey’s treatment and the safe journey of getting her there and home again.
“We would very much appreciate your support in this and hope that you can understand the predicament this family of six find themselves in. They want to keep their Mammy alive as long as they possibly can and Tracey dose not want to leave her family any time soon.
“She is a fighter and a very determined woman, who would cross a sea of hot coals to be with her husband and children for as long as possible.”
