
A man has been given a suspended prison term for disorderly behaviour at Rushmere Shopping Centre in Craigavon.
James Connors (24), with an address listed as Ganna Way in Warrenpoint, committed the offence on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 27 this year.
The defendant appeared at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court via video link from prison on Friday.
The court was told the defendant was having an argument with a woman and he was refusing to leave the shopping centre. He attempted to run back in and was shouting and swearing.
District Judge Michael Ranaghan made reference to a previous case when the defendant was sentenced for “misbehaviour in court”.
For the disorderly behaviour at Rushmere the defendant was given a three months prison term, suspended for a year.
