A man has been arrested after a one-vehicle crash at Tannaghmore Road, Markethill, shortly before 6am today (Tuesday).
Officers attended the scene together with colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.
The man, who is in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class C drug, driving while unfit through drink or drugs, failing to remain where an accident occurred causing damage, and failing to report where an accident occurred causing damage.
Police said there were no reports of any injuries and the man remains in police custody at this time.
