A man is due to appear in court in Monaghan today (Saturday) charged in relation with the theft of an ATM cash machine at a filling station on the Camlough Road.
The man, who is in his 20s, was arrested by Gardaí on Friday morning at Drumass, Inniskeen.
The machine was ripped from the wall using a digger, causing extensive damage.
It happened at Gregory’s on the Camlough Road at around 3.30am on Friday.
The man was arrested in County Monaghan after Gardai carried out searches, where they found three males in a white van.
He will appear at a special court sitting of Monaghan District Court today (Saturday).
