A multi-million pound housing development could see more than 50 new homes being built in Co Armagh.
The development has been earmarked for a site at Derrymacash Road, Lurgan.
An application for the work has been submitted to Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council for consideration.
The proposals, if approved, would see 52 houses being built, along with landscaping, open space provision, road widening and the provision of footpath and access improvements along the Kilvergan Road.

The developer behind the scheme is Acorn Developments NI Ltd, which is based in Belfast.
The site – on “lands to the rear of 2 and 4 Aghacommon Heights, Kilvergan Road and to the south west of 1 – 7 Mcgreevy Drive and 68-79 McGreevy Park” – is described in the submission currently as “undeveloped grass land”.
The scheme will involve the construction of a number of different house types and sizes with properties to benefit from the provision of garages.
The proposals are due to be publicly advertised this week with a decision expected in the coming months.
