A man in his thirties has died following a road traffic collision in Lurgan in the early hours of this morning (Saturday).
The incident is believed to have happened around 2.30am.
Inspector Jonny Francey said: “It’s believed the man was the driver of a car which struck a tree on the Annesborough Road at around 2.30am this morning, Saturday, May 26.
“He was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision and the road remains closed at present.”
It is understood there were no other cars or people directly involved in the incident.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area this morning as police continue their investigation.
Local diversions have been put in place.
