BLACK ice is causing a major headache for motorists across Counties Armagh and Down.
A lorry has overturned this morning (Friday) on the Tandragee Road close to Jerrettspass. Part of the road has been closed – and is expected to remain so for some time – with diversions put in place.
The Craigavon area has also been particularly badly hit.
A Roads Service spokesperson said icy conditions had been forecast in the south of the Province, in Counties Down and Armagh.
“Salting is being undertaken,” she said. “Drivers should take care, especially on untreated roads.”
