Police attended a sudden death in Armagh early on Monday morning.
Police were called to the Lisdonwilly Road area of the city, close to the Callan River.
Officers had cordoned off a number of areas in the vicinity, next to the water treatment works, while they dealt with the tragic incident.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police responded to a report of the sudden death of a man in the Lisdonwilly Road area of Armagh this morning, Monday, September 9. A post-mortem will take place in due course.
“However, the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
There are no further details at this time.
