A cyclist was taken to hospital this morning (Wednesday) after being involved in a collision with a vehicle close to the Shambles roundabout in Armagh.
The accident on the Cathedral Road took place around 10.40am.
A police spokesperson said that a report was received of the two-vehicle road traffic collision at 10.45am.
“The cyclist went to hospital as a precaution,” the statement added.
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said it received a 999 call at 10.41 and despatched one ambulance to the scene.
“Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken to Craigavon Area Hospital by ambulance,” he said.
