An Armagh man will face the Crown Court next month for alleged offences including possession of both cocaine and ecstasy with intent to supply.

It was heard that these substances, along with Xanax, were allegedly found on the 35-year-old on October 18, 2018.

Kyle Martin Jones, of Kilmore Meadows, appeared charged with two counts of possession of Class A, two counts of possession of Class A with intent to supply, possession of Class C and possession of Class C with intent to supply at the city’s Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.

Standing in the dock, Jones made no objection to the holding of a preliminary enquiry.

Prosecution submitted that based on the papers before the court that there was a prima facie case to answer.

Defence solicitor Patrick Mallon made no contrary submissions.

Jones was released on bail to appear before Newry Crown Court on February 18 for arraignment.
