Armagh influencer no longer feels safe in own home after address leaked in online video

'This is raw at the minute and I don't mean to come across bad or anything but we are having to now look for a new home'

An Armagh-based social media influencer has appealed to the public to stop calling at her home after an individual posted an online video with directions to her address.

Annalivia Hynds published the emotional appeal in a joint video with her fiancé, Ruairi McGivern, on her TikTok account.

She said: “This is not something that I ever wanted to bring to social media but the things that have happened in the past couple of weeks just leaves me no other choice.

“I hate being a negative person, I hate being negative or talking about negative things but I feel like I have no other choice.

“In the most respectful way I am so appreciative of everyone who follows me and everyone on here. I would not have this job without you all.

“But I just need to put some boundaries in place. Recently we have had so many people coming to our house coming to our house knocking the door and asking for photos which I always say yes to. I have never refused a photo to anyone in my life but when it comes to my house there has to be a line.”

At this point Ruairi stepped in to provide context.

He said: “This started a while ago, there was an individual who put a video on social media from the top of our road, recorded the entire layout of our entire estate of how to get to our house and it was uploaded to social media.”

The pair acknowledge that it sounded dramatic, both adding “you would say that we are joking” but Ruairi adds: “This actually happened”.

Following the publication of the video in question, Annalivia was also allegedly threatened at her home.

Said Ruairi: “That night in question, I was away at football and a male shouted a threat through the window to Annalivia basically saying, “Annalivia, I’m going to kick your f*** in.”

Since then the pair say that numerous – potentially “harmless” individuals have begun calling at their door requesting photos and stuff and on a few occasions the well-known content creator has obliged.

However, she insists that she isn’t happy about the confrontation and feels she has no other choice as she’s “never going to be rude”.

The pair say the escalating behaviour is now causing their children – Robyn, Rhea and Rian – to also become anxious with Robyn asking who people are when they appear unannounced at their home.

Citing one instance when the family went to get ice-cream Ruairi explained: “Someone out the window had their phone out recording us with the kids walking across the road.

“I was collecting Robyn from school and things that we are trying to keep private like their uniform and house number and obviously we post in the house but we never post where we live but, out of respect, we thought people wouldn’t cross that line.”

Exasperated, he said: “Our house isn’t a 24 hour meet and greet and this isn’t me being cheeky. This is our home it’s our safe place.

“This is raw at the minute and I don’t mean to come across bad or anything but we are having to now look for a new home.”

Their property search was not something the couple had intended on sharing at this point but such is their concern for their safety that they now see no other option. They have also had to price the installation of CCTV to protect their and their children’s welfare.

Neighbours have also allegedly raised concerns with Annalivia about the volume of people entering the estate and taking photos of her home.

And, while she reiterates her gratitude to her followers, Annalivia states bluntly, “It’s not acceptable”.
