Teresa Livingstone, one of Northern Ireland’s top comedy acts and skilled pianist and singer, brings her hilarious new show ‘Nice Lady’ to The Market Place.
Blending stand-up comedy and original songs, Teresa explores what happens when a forty-something Northern Irish woman stops being “nice” and starts telling the truth. The result is a riotously funny and heartfelt celebration of reclaiming your voice, taking up space, and laughing loudly while you do it.
Teresa recently starred in her own BBC Sounds series ‘Tell Teresa’, nominated for a prestigious ARIA comedy Award. She’s also familiar to audiences through her popular comedy podcast ‘Scundered’ and appearances on BBC favourites ‘The Blame Game’, ‘Soft Border Patrol’ and ‘Late Licence’.

Scottish singer, songwriter, and accordionist Calum McPhail is making waves with his vibrant fusion of traditional Scottish folk and Irish music.
An exciting new presence on the Celtic live music scene, Calum first made his mark at just 16 when he founded the award-winning folk band Hò-rò, touring internationally and captivating audiences with his high-energy performances. Now, he brings his latest show to the stage alongside his talented band, fresh from the release of his acclaimed album ‘Highlands to Heartlands’, featuring the fan-favourite single ‘Bonnie Wee Jeannie.’
In the past two years, Calum has built a loyal fanbase through sold-out performances, including standout shows at the Eden Court Theatre in Inverness and appearances at the prestigious Royal Highland Show. Other plays by Joe Hanratty include ‘Golden Jackets And Black Bow Ties’, about two veteran musicians who attempt to make a comeback, ‘The Manager’ where loyalty, ambition and relationships are all put to the test as The Saints attempt to win the county football final and ‘No Going Back’ is set in post-Civil War Ireland where two brothers try to move on with their lives.
