Keep up with Armagh i

Acknowledgement for the late Martha Corbett (Orritor)

Corbett, Martha. Ronald and Bert Corbett wish to express their appreciation to all the kind friends and neighbours who sympathised with them at the recent death of their mother. The wider family circle is also appreciative to all those who attended the wake, funeral service, or sent sympathy cards, phoned, or sent messages of condolence on social media.

Special mention must be made to the staff of Fairfields Nursing home, who cared for Martha so well during her final days, and the professionalism of the doctors and staff at Craigavon Area Hospital’s Ramone ward, as well as the doctors and staff of Loy Medical Centre.

We also thank Canon Porteus and the Rev. Ivor Smith for their words of comfort, and conducting the funeral service. We also thank the organist, Mrs Anne McGuffin, and the efforts of Cookstown Council’s grave-diggers, who prepared our mother’s final resting place.

We appreciate the efforts of Bryan Steenson and his staff at Steenson Funeral Services, for the dignified and caring manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.

It is impossible to thank everyone individually for their kindness, but we trust this acknowledgment is accepted as a token of our gratitude.

2 Braeside, Orritor.
