Acknowledgement for the late Margaret Connolly (Blackwatertown)

Connolly, Margaret Rose.

The sister, brother, sister-in-law, nephews, and nieces of the late Margaret Rose Connolly wish to express our thanks for the sympathy and support we have received during our recent bereavement. We would like to thank all those who called at our home, attended Margaret’s funeral mass, brought and sent mass cards, and sympathy cards, sent letters and posted messages of condolences online.

Thanks to Fr. Thomas McHugh for calling at our home and celebrating Margaret’s funeral mass. Cardinal Seán Brady, Fr. John Hughes, and Fr. Seamus White for calling at our home, and Fr. Peter McAneley and Fr. Malachy Hanratty for their letter of condolences. Thanks also to our cousin Sr. Jo Anne Kelly MMM who made the journey from Drogheda to be with us.

Thanks to Martin Kelly Undertakers for their guidance and professionalism. Thanks also to Brian for preparing Margaret’s final resting place. We convey our appreciation to Sacristan, Mickey Casey, and everyone who took part in the liturgy, and to Gerard Cunningham for his musical liturgy.

A special thanks to Margaret’s carers, and Dr. McClurg from the Abbey Court Surgery for their care and support. Thanks to all the kind friends and neighbours who brought refreshments and helped in so many ways. A word of gratitude to McAnerney’s Supermarket, Hegarty’s Shop, Cordelias and Campbell Fuels.

Thank you to Ciara, Bronagh and the volunteers for the very welcome refreshments in Blackwatertown Parochial Hall after the funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone, please accept our family’s deepest gratitude.

Thanks to all who made donations to our Charity, The Medical Missionaries of Mary, Drogheda.

Margaret’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Jarlath’s Church, Clonfeacle on Sunday December 17, at 11:30 am.
