Acknowledgement for the late Gerard McKee (Armagh)

The family of the late Gerard, wish to express our deepest gratitude for the overwhelming sympathy and support we have all received during our recent sad bereavement. Your comforting messages , kind gestures and heartfelt condolences, have provided us with strength during this difficult time. We would like to thank the staff of Craigavon Area Hospital for dad’s care and most especially Hamilton Court Armagh, for their dedication and kindness to dad and us during his few weeks with them, it was very much appreciated.

We would also like to express gratitude and thanks to all our family, friends and kind neighbours whose help and support was invaluable.

To all those who attended the wake and funeral , brought mass/ sympathy cards, telephoned, messaged or posted condolences online, these were greatly appreciated.

Thanks also to the many individuals and businesses who brought gifts of food to the house ,including Cordelia’s, Armagh Blooms for the gorgeous flowers and Keegan’s Bar for after burial refreshments, we would also like to thank Tieve Tara Road Bowls for their guard of honour, Cathy Kelly, Patricia Hagan, Declan Traynor and Eoin Kelly for the beautiful singing and music, the Piper Frank Gildernew, Father Nugent for the wonderful Requiem mass and also Martin Kelly Undertakers for their professionalism , compassion and guidance with dads funeral arrangements.

Thank you to all that donated to Dementia N.I in lieu of flowers.

Gerard’s Month Mind Mass will be held on Monday November 20, in St Malachy’s Chapel, Armagh at 7:30pm.
