Acknowledgement for the late Brian O’Rourke (Newtownhamilton)

O’Rourke, Brian.

We, the family of the late Brian O’Rourke, beloved husband of Kathleen, father of Aidan, Bernice, Colette, Dearbhail, Aaron, Cormac and Niall, brother and sisters, loving father-in-law, grandchildren and the entire family circle would like to express our deepest and sincere thanks to our extended family, friends, neighbours and all those who travelled to sympathise and support us on the passing of Brian.

We would like to also include those who sent us mass cards, letters, floral tributes and messages of condolences via social media. A special word of thanks to extended family, friends, neighbours, local businesses and GAA Clubs who helped us during the wake, we will be forever grateful for your help and kindness.

A special word of thanks to Canon Michael Toner, for celebrating a personal Requiem Mass reflecting Brian’s life. We would also like to thank Robert Brown and John Glenn for the beautiful music and singing, this was very personal and special for us.

To the medical staff of Willowbank Surgery Keady and Craigavon Area Hospital, we express our sincere gratitude for the care and attention you showed Brian.

We convey a heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Aisling and Seamus from Murray’s Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified service and guidance during this difficult time.

We also acknowledge both the gravedigger and florist, Richard Dixon who prepared Brian’s final resting place and David McConkey, Floral Couture for the flowers.

Thank you to the management and staff of Basil Sheils, Tassagh for the exceptional food and service they provided for us after the funeral.

As its impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this as a token of our sincere appreciation, gratitude and heartfelt thanks.

Mass will be offered for all your special intentions.

Brian’s months mind will be celebrated on Friday November 8, 2024 at 7pm in St Michael’s Church, Newtownhamilton.
