McAreavey, Barney ‘Brian’. (Craigavon).
The family of the late Barney (Brian) McAreavey wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised and consoled them during their recent sad loss.
Thank you to all who called to the home and who sent mass cards, messages of sympathy and sent floral tributes.
To those who attended the funeral mass in St Peter’s Church Lurgan or watched online and attended the cremation in Lakelands Co Cavan, and the burial in St John’s Cemetery Lylo, we are deeply grateful.
A Special thanks to Fr Shajan Panachickal Michael who attended Barney in Hospital and who conducted the funeral mass and the graveside service.
We also thank Mark Magee and Jonny Toman for their beautiful singing and music.
We are so grateful to Jack and Margaret McLearnon funeral directors and staff for the courteous, compassionate and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were conducted.
While it is impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude to all.
The Month’s Mind Mass for Barney will take place on Monday February 3, 2025 at 9.30am in St Anthony’s Church Craigavon.
