Looking for the perfect blend of city and sand, look no further – Miami has you covered.
Home of Art Basel, this city has everything you are looking for. Culture, fun, relaxation, shopping, city, beach, nightlife, family fun – you name it, its got it.
South Beach being one of the world’s most renowned beach destinations, it is truly not to be missed, as it is absolutely breath taking.
With its City being known as ‘Little Manhattan’ it is definitely a new up and coming city that gives you the best of both worlds.
Miami is the perfect destination to connect you with the Caribbean should it be for a few nights pre-stay before your cruise or a Twin-Center holiday for a Honeymoon especially if you’re looking for something a little bit more than flop and drop.
The shopping is absolutely amazing with one of the best outlet shopping centres I have ever been in. Perfect for a girly break to get your Christmas shopping done, especially if electronics and designer clothes are what you are looking for at extremely good prices – you will not be disappointed.
Family Fun is definitely not something Miami falls short on. Jungle Island combines Miami’s tropical landscape with exotic animals from all over the world.
You can experience close up encounters with lemurs or sloths if you prefer. When seeing animals just isn’t enough they also have Adventure Bay which has activities from a rock climbing wall, aerial ropes course and kids bungee jumping all included in the General Admission ticket.
Next door to Jungle Island they have the worlds first outdoor wind tunnel skydiving, Superflight. With amazing views of Miami’s skyline this will not disappoint.
Must do: Thriller in Miami.
This is a speed boat ride which takes you along millionaires row to see the houses of the Rich and Famous in true ‘Miami Vice’ style.
With fun tour guides ripping at high speeds through Miami’s water expect to get a little bit wet and to laugh A LOT.
Where to stay?
South Beach for couples or girly breaks I definitely recommend The Betsy Hotel or 1 Hotel South Beach.
If it’s cruising InterContinental Miami is five minutes over the bridge, in a perfect location for Bayside Marketplace which has a harbour area with shops, bars and restaurants.
Closer to the city Mandarin Oriental which is in Brickell Key with stunning views all day long of Miami’s city skyline.
A beautiful walk over Brickell Key Bridge and you are right in the city.
Where to Dine?
A restaurant completely different with the most amazing experience LA MAR BY GASTÓN ACURIO. For a steak LT Steak & Seafood or if Greek tickles your fancy Estiatorio Milos by Costas Spiliadis was amazing.
The Knife, Bayside Marketplace has “All-Inclusive” rates which offer you the opportunity to enjoy our large selection of grilled meats, traditional Argentinian cold appetizers, wide variety of fresh vegetables and salads, homemade desserts and drinks at a reasonable price.
Miami; a city with so much vibe, it is definitely a not to be missed.
