Aonach Mhacha is delighted to welcome back the Bob and Sárán Christmas Special for the third year now!
With packed out audiences for the past two years, Bob and Sárán have put everyone in the spirit on Christmas Eve through their festive tunes ranging from the classics, to the carols and from the jazz, to the more modern Christmas songs. There is something for everyone to enjoy.
This year they are very pleased to be joined by a special up and coming singer – Molly Bermudez – who will be joining them with songs in their sets. If you have heard her voice before you’ll know that this is a gig you’ll definitely not want to miss out on!
An attendee from last year’s event said, “Thanks to you both for a Christmas Eve with amazing Music. A tradition in the making I hope. Merry Christmas and look forward to more great music in 22”.

Bob Hunt
Born in London, Bob has been playing saxophone for over 30 years, touring all over the world with artists such as Van Morrison, The Commitments, Declan Nerney and many more. He has played in the bright lights of New York to the streets of London and everywhere else in between! Bob will be playing his Tenor, Alto, Soprano and Digtial Saxophone on Christmas eve and is very much looking forward to playing some Christmas crackers for everyone to enjoy!
Sárán Ó Machail
Coming from a musical background, Sárán has been playing music from he was very young. Playing a wide variety of instruments including whistle, banjos, guitar, piano, pipes, percussions, bouzouki, dobro, bass, ukulele, saxophone and clarinet. He is really looking forward to playing with Molly and Bob on Christmas eve and enjoys having his annually gig with Bob as he misses there weekly gigs from The Garage Band days!
Molly Bermudez
Hailing from Tullysaran, Molly who is a student of M.D Rafferty Music School has been creating lots of attention in the local music scene in recent years with her singing. Her grandfather, the late Paddy Donnelly was a very talented musician and was a member of the National Ramblers. She also tells us that her great-granny was an opera singer so it’s inevitable that music is in her blood. Joining Bob and Sárán with songs in their set, she looks forward to joining them for some festive tunes on Christmas eve!
