Twenty-four cattle stolen from a field in Keady

Twenty-four cattle were stolen from the Annvale Road area of Keady, county Armagh.

The cattle were stolen on the evening of Wednesday, 17 June and the morning of Thursday, 18 June.

Police received a report that 24 cattle, Aberdeen Angus, Limousin, Hereford, Friesian and Simmental breeds, were stolen from a field.

Police would appeal to anyone who has any information about this theft to contact Police at Armagh on the non-emergency number 101.

Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

This is not the first such incident in the area as Armagh I reported back in January that 30 cattle were stolen from the same area.
