Residents’ concern over anti-social behaviour in Tandragee

Tullyhugh Park in Tandragee

Calls have been made for increased action following a spate of anti-social behaviour incidents in Tandragee area.

There have been reports of ongoing issues in the Tullyhugh Park area which were causing “fear” among residents.

Cusher councillor Bróna Haughey said the incidents included throwing stones at traffic, vandalising cars in the area, and damaging infrastructure which are “unfortunately causing huge concerns and fears amongst many residents”.

In response to the community’s concerns, Cllr Haughey confirmed that police patrols would be stepped up in the area and that the Police and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) would be working to inform residents about how to report and respond to incidents.

“Police patrols will be more visible in the area,” she said. “The Police and Community Safety Partnership will also be involved, providing information to local residents on actions they should take.”

The Sinn Féin councillor urged residents to come forward with any information about those involved in the disturbances.

“Any resident with any information about these or any anti-social activities should report them to the PSNI. If anyone has any more concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.”
