A cyclist has been found dead at the side of a road in Tandragee.
The Drumnamether Road was closed earlier this evening – shortly after 7pm – by police.
Emergency services attended the scene.
Police closed off the road and medics rushed to the scene to tend to the man, who is understood to be aged in his 50s.
It is not known at this stage if he collapsed and died or had been hit by a vehicle which left the scene.
Upper Bann UUP MLA Doug Beattie MC said it was “another sad death”.
He said there was “no information if the cause of death is due to the cyclist being struck by a vehicle”.
He offered his condolences to the man’s family.
Police investigations are ongoing.
The road reopened to traffic shortly after 11.30pm, police confirmed.
