The sun shone brightly – perhaps too brightly – as qualifying for the Tandragee 100 began on Friday night.
Riders and spectators took to the road and its verges to watch as Northern Irish rider Michael Dunlop secured pole position in the Superbike class with the fastest ever qualifying lap at the Co Armagh course.
A non-championship Supersport race and Senior Support race were due to run after qualifying, however, low sun put pay to those on safety grounds, as it did for the Junior Support and Lightweight qualifying sessions.
