Front gates of Tandragee property rammed in broad daylight burglary

Front gates of a Co Armagh property were rammed in the middle of the day on Monday.

The perpetrators then entered the house on the Scarva Road in Tandragee before making off with a number of items, including jewellery.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “We are appealing for information after a burglary in the area of the Scarva Road, Tandragee yesterday.

“During the burglary at approximately 1pm the front gates to the property were rammed by an unknown vehicle before persons entered the property and stole jewellery, documentation and other items.

“If you were in the area and noticed suspicious persons, vehicles or any vehicle with significant damage please get in touch.”

Police yesterday appealed for information in locating a vehicle which had suffered damage to its rear.

There are no further details at present but if you can help please call police on 101 quoting serial 680 of August 8, 2018.
