Chance thieves have struck in Poyntzpass this evening after making off with a trailer from the front of a house.
The red builder’s trailer, which had mesh sides, was stolen from the front of a house at William Street.
The owner’s daughter said it was taken at around 8.15pm this evening (Thursday).
She told Armagh I it had been seen being towed along the Loughadian Road, and across by the Fourtowns Road.
The thief or thieves had the trailer, an 8 x4 with an aluminium floor, attached to a white van as they made off with it.
The theft has been reported to the PSNI.
