Celebrating 61 years of Tandragee 100 after two-year hiatus

Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, Alderman Stephen Moutray and ABC Councillors with Ian Forsythe, President of NAMCCC, Gerry Rice, Main Sponsor Around a Pound and Wes McCrum, McCrum Motorcycles.

After two long years of not being able to host the event due to a delay in getting resurfacing work carried out, the North Armagh Motorcycle and Car Club are thrilled to be celebrating 61 years of the Around A Pound Tandragee 100 Motorcycle Road Races.

The Club would like to thank the then Infrastructure Minister John O’Dowd, for committing the necessary funds in 2024/25 and all those Councillors, MPs and MLAs who supported them in this venture.

A special mention also to Ian Milne for assisting over the three years it took to get this across the line.

The Club will be closing the roads earlier and adding extra untimed practice, two extra non-championship races and a new Classic Superbike Race to help all competitors.

The overall prize pot has been increased to approximately £13,000.

This year a new online ticketing system has been introduced whereby race fans purchase their programme and parking package and a QR code is emailed to them. They present this QR code to be scanned upon arrival at the event and they will be given a programme which grants them access to parking and viewing areas.

Use the QR code below to purchase a package or visit the News Section of our website www.tandragee100.co.uk for further information and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).

“Standing about 1km away from the start/finish and I could see this horde thrashing uphill over two jumps towards me like they’d been stung by hornets. A mass start on narrow Irish country roads is something that you’ll never forget…gives you goosepimples! 8.5km (5.3m) and about 3 minutes later the air pushed aside as the bikes closely passed by, made my jacket flap back and forth…all came towards me at about 200km/h on the back wheel, I could have done with a nappy! It’s just amazing to watch, each and every one of them is racing with a knife between his teeth – you’ve got to be there to understand just how exciting it is.” (Stephen Bowers)
